Land route between Malaysia and Singapore to reopen from Monday for the fully vaccinated Updated: 2021-11-25 22:32:13 KST

Malaysia and Singapore will be opening their land routes, starting next week, to allow fully-vaccinated travelers to move between the countries.
The Malaysian National News Agency reports that from Monday, those who have completed inoculation won't have to go through mandatory isolation upon arrival by air either.
But for now, the land route, under the so-called 'Vaccinated Travel Lane' system, is limited to designated bus services, accommodating up to 2,880 people per day all citizens, permanent residents or long term pass holders of the country they are entering.
Since March eighteenth of last year, Malaysia has been restricting cross border movement to those granted special permission.
