Park Yong-maan the former chairman of Doosan Group and son of the company's founder, has retired from his last remaining role within the organization.
According to Doosan on Wednesday, the 66-year-old recently submitted his resignation as chairman of the group's think tank, the Doosan Business Research Institute.
His two sons who are incumbent executives at Doosan affiliates will also be resigning to focus on their new careers.
The tycoon will now shift focus to humanitarian activities through his philanthropic foundation.
