S. Korea's National Security Advisor says it is difficult to identify whether N. Korea can mount nuclear warheads on short-range missiles Updated: 2021-10-27 11:16:15 KST

South Korea's top security official admits it's difficult to identify whether North Korea can mount nuclear warheads on its new short-range missiles.
National Security Advisor Suh Hoon on Tuesday said the North is presumably trying to reduce their size and weight based on the regime's recent test launches.
North Korea fired a submarine launched ballistic missile earlier this month and a new hypersonic missile in September.
To that, Suh said South Korea's military has the capability to counter any new missiles the North is currently developing.
