There has been a change of plans regarding South Korea's ASEAN-related summits to be held online for two daysfrom Tuesday.
The Blue House on Monday postponed the Korea-Mekong summit…originally scheduled for Tuesday evening with the leaders of Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Myanmar.
A senior official said the summit will be held later due to "internal circumstances" in the Mekong River nations.
The official did not specify what the circumstances are, but local media outlets cited that the Blue House as saying it was most likely due to the situation in Myanmar.
Along with other ASEAN countries, South Korea has expressed concern over the military's takeover in Myanmar…calling for peace and diplomacy.
