Pres. Moon vows to help Korea's transition to normal over his remaining term in office Updated: 2021-10-25 11:51:01 KST

President Moon Jae-in has vowed to work until the last day of his term to help Koreans get their lives back on track.
During his final budget speech at the National Assembly on earlier on this Monday he highlighted the need to maintain an expansionary fiscal stance WITH next year's budget proposed at a record 5-hundred-10 BILLION U.S. dollars.
President Moon also said the country's transition to normal may begin in November with more than 70 percent of the population now fully vaccinated.
He added that basic prevention guidelines like the wearing of masks will remain in place while restrictions will be lifted for hard-hit businesses.
The President also renewed his pledge to push forward with carbon neutrality the Korean New Deal and support next-generation industries to ensure the nation's future.
