South Korea has ranked second to seventh in the OECD's regulatory policy evaluation, claiming a top tier ranking for the second straight year.
The country ranked highest in the regulatory impact analysis category, ranking second among OECD countries in both law and lower statute.
South Korea ranked fifth and seventh in the post-evaluation category, down two and four places respectively, compared to the last report.
Each of the three categories are broken down into law and lower statute.
The OECD evaluation is conducted every three years, after each government submits data on about a thousand different items.
