S. Korea's NSC to continue seeking ways to resume N. Korea dialogue Updated: 2021-10-14 17:22:13 KST

South Korea's National Security Council says it will continue working on ways to swiftly resume talks with North Korea now that cross-border communication lines have been restored.
Following a weekly meeting Thursday, chaired by the presidential chief of staff, the NSC members said that they will communicate closely with related parties, noting the recent South Korea-U.S. foreign ministers' meeting and talks between their national security advisors.
The NSC also vowed to strengthen coordination across the government in regard to policies on security-related technology, saying that technology is a core element for the economy and security.
