South Korea will be administering its first booster shots to medical staff on Tuesday.
Some 45-thousand medical staff that have worked on the frontlines fighting COVID-19 are eligibleas six months have passed since they have received their second dose of the Pfizer vaccine back in March and April.
The first round of booster shots will be from Pfizer and available until October 30th.
Next in line will be seniors aged 75 and up, or those who work at relevant facilities like nursing homes.
