The top diplomats of South Korea and the U.S. met in Paris Tuesday for talks on Seoul-Washington relations and issues related to the Korean Peninsula.
The meeting between Chung Eui-yong and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken was held on the sidelines of an OECD meeting.
Seoul's foreign ministry said Chung explained that President Moon's recent call for an end-of-war declaration was a (quote) "meaningful" way to build trust with North Korea.
They agreed to closely communicate on the matter.
This meeting came just two weeks after the diplomats last met in New York.
