South Korea's transport ministry has announced a recall of eight different foreign vehicle models with faulty components.
The recall is voluntary, the ministry says, affecting models by Volvo, Toyota and Audi.
It affects three-hundred-and-two vehicles in total,.. the faulty parts including brake components, turn signals and seat belts.
The ministry plans to fine the automakers once the situation is under control.
Vehicle owners will be notified by text message or post, directing them to visit a designated service center to get the parts replaced or repaired free of charge.
The details are on the government's recall website at car-dot-G-O-dot-K-R.
