South Korea has kicked off a multinational forum today for senior security officials from around the world that's the the Seoul Defense Dialogue 2021, being held this year in person and online.
This is the forum's tenth year.
The opening ceremony will be held on Thursday and there will be messages from South Korea's defense minister Suh Wook, EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, and the UK's foreign secretary Dominic Raab.
The theme this year is "borderless security crisis and multilateral response".
The forum will run for three days, covering Korean Peninsula issues, security in the Asia-Pacific, new infectious diseases and cyber security.
There'll be officials joining from the U.S., China, Japan, Poland, the UK and others.
