So-called breakthrough COVID-19 infections are surging in South Korea with the caseload now topping three-thousand.
Despite being fully vaccinated, according to health authorities, people in 30s had the highest rates with lower rates for older people.
So far, those given the Johnson & Johnson vaccine have the most breakthrough cases.
Meanwhile, the detection rate of the Delta variant has reached around 95-percent in South Korea.
Considering this, authorities say the fourth wave is likely to be around for the foreseeable future.
