South Korea is set to announce COVID-19 vaccination plans for people 18 to 49 in the coming hours.
Slated for late August, this plan will make some 17-million more people eligible.
Around 71 million doses will arrive in South Korea from August to September enough to achieve the government's goal of giving 70 percent of the population at least one dose by September.
So far, South Korea has given one shot to around 36 percent of the population.
All the details will be announced at a briefing in a couple of hours from now.
