Warmer spells ahead tomorrow...rain across southern regions and Jeju through morning Updated: 2021-03-04 16:00:15 KST

Rain will continue until tomorrow morning. But, lower parts of the south will see heavy showers with advisories issued tonight. Mountainous regions of Jeju Island will be expecting up to 80 millimeters, while inland regions will see a bit less of up to 40 millimeters. Thunder and lightning may also follow, so please be aware.

According to the seasonal calendar, tomorrow marks Gyeongchip , which is when spring begins to reappear across the Korean Peninsula. Due to warm southerly winds, temperatures will continue to rise. But there will be an inflow of fine dust from overseas, and central regions will temporarily see poor air quality for the daytime.

Upper half of the nation will start off with sunny spells for the morning. Busan and Jeju will continue to stay rainy.

For the daytime, Seoul will reach 16 degrees. Daejeon and Daegu will top 18 degrees. This is what we normally see in April.

The forecast shows that there is another round of snowfall coming this Saturday across Gangwon-do Province. For those in the area, please be extra prepared.

As daytime figures will stay warm across the nation, there will be larger temperature differences. Please dress warmly and be careful not to catch a cold.

That's all for now, and here are the weather conditions around the world.
