It has emerged that a North Korean company filed a lawsuit against a South Korean company for the first time, to claim payment related to a failed business deal.
The North Korean firm filed the suit with the Seoul Central District Court in 2019, claiming the South Korean company didn't pay 4.7 million U.S. dollars for some 26-hundred tons of zinc the North Korean company said it provided several years earlier.
It's a rare legal battle between companies on opposite sides of the DMZ.
