Good morning. Spring cold will ease this afternoon, and highs will go above the norms. Those of us in upper parts of the country, especially, will notice warmer afternoon highs.
Meanwhile, dryness is becoming more severe each day, and a dry weather advisory remains in effect in the east while also expanding to inland regions in Chungcheong-do Provinces and the capital region. Be careful about potential fires.
A sub-zero start to the day for most regions, Daegu and Gwangju at minus 2 degrees. Dress accordingly on your way out.
Highs in most regions will hover around 10 degrees this afternoon, so the southern regions will see highs that are similar to yesterday. Mostly sunny skies with decent air quality in store.
We'll have to wait until next Monday to get some much needed rain which marks Independence Movement Day, a national holiday in Korea.
