Good morning. Cold air moved in again last night and we are waking up to sub zero temperatures with cold wave advisories issued across much of the country. Dress warmly on your way out. It's about 9 degrees lower than the same time yesterday in Seoul.
Mostly sunny skies and clean air will be featured, but along the coast and some inland regions will see strong winds blowing in with dry weather alerts expanding to more inland areas. Rain is in the forecast for the latter half of the week to the southern regions.
It's a freezing start to the day for most regions, minus 5 degrees in Daejeon and Chuncheon at minus 7.
Highs though will rise to around the seasonal norms, Seoul at 5 degrees, Daegu at 10 degrees. Slightly more clouds will roll in as the day goes on.
The cold snap will be short lived with temperatures hiking to near 10 degrees by tomorrow afternoon.
That's Korea for you and here's a look at the weather conditions around the world.
