Fish caught off the coast of Fukushima is said to have five times more the permitted radiation level standard set by the Japanese government.
According to NHK, rockfish caught off the coast of Fukushima on Monday, registered 500 becquerels of cesium per kilogram, five times more than amount allowed for human consumption.
The level is ten times above the Fukushima's fisheries association's standard.
The fish were caught some eight kilometers off the coast of Fukushima.
