All households in Gyeonggi-do Province will receive 100-thousand won around 90 U.S. dollars in COVID-19 disaster relief funds starting next month.
During an online press conference Thursday, Lee Jae-myung, the governor of Gyeonggi-do Province said the province's second round of disaster relief funds need to be distributed ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday, which is in mid-February this year.
Online transfers start on February 1st.
In-person payments a couple of days later.
