Business sentiment among South Korean companies improved in November for the second consecutive month, on the back of gently recovering exports.
According to the Bank of Korea Wednesday, the Business Sentiment Index for all industries was at 78, up 4 points on-month.
However, the reading is still far below the 100 threshold, indicating pessimists outnumber optimists.
It also does not reflect this week's raising of the social distancing level to two.
By sector, sentiment among manufacturing businesses rose 6 points to 85, mainly led by semiconductors and automobile parts.
BSI among non-manufacturing businesses increased 4 points to 73.
