Wall street extended its rally Tuesday with continuing optimism over the imminent deployment of a COVID-19 vaccine propelled the Dow Jones to surpass 30,000 for the first time ever.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 1.5 percent, hitting 30,45.8.
The S&P climbed 1.6 percent, and the tech-heavy NASDAQ also rose 1.3 percent to finish at 12,36.8.
Oil prices ALSO rose, with Brent Crude up 4-percent.
WTI also climbed 4.3 percent to nearly 45-dollars.
