Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan has slammed European leaders for supporting anti-Islam policies, calling them "fascists".
At a religious event on Monday, he compared them to Nazis, while also comparing Muslims to Jews during the world war.
He even called on people to boycott French goods.
This comes amid repeated attacks against the French president, over what Erdogan is calling an "anti-Islam" agenda.
The comments were triggered by Macron's declaration of war against "Islamist separatism", after a teacher was killed by an Islamist for showing his class cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad.
