Health authorities reported 121 new cases on Thursday, hiking back up to triple digits after a week.
Authorities are keeping a close eye on cluster infections, with focus on nursing homes and facilities for the elderly.
Of the new cases, 104 were locally transmitted, most of which were in the greater Seoul area.
17 cases were from overseas.
The total number of cases now stands at over 25,500.
Three more deaths have been reported with the death toll rising to 453.
