The capital will continue to have clear skies but with large fluctuations in temperature.
Let's go to our Lee Seung-min at the Weather Center.
Seung-min, what do we have in store?
Well, Conn-young. We can expect sporadic showers through dawn tomorrow in the northern areas, including the Seoul metropolitan area. There won't be much rain with about 5 millimeters in forecast. For the weekend, clear skies will be back, but temperatures in most inland regions will drop into single digits in the morning. This will widen the temperature gaps even more, so dress in extra layers to keep yourselves warm.
Morning lows will start off at 11 degrees Celsius in Seoul. Chuncheon will be a bit chillier at 8 degrees.
The nation will be under plenty of sunshine for the daytime. Seoul and Chuncheon will reach 19 degrees, Gyeongju and Busan will top 22 degrees.
Another bout of rain is expected along the west coast on Saturday morning. For the capital area, skies will stay clear through Sunday.
Meanwhile, dry conditions are intensifying throughout the Peninsula and this could increase the risk of wildfires. Please continue to take precautions for the time being.
That's all for now, and here are the weather conditions around the world.
