South Korea on Friday reported fewer than a hundred new cases of COVID-19 for a second day in a row.
With one exception, they've been under a hundred for a week now.
There were 54 new cases on Friday, of which 38 were local and 16 from overseas.
This brings the total number of cases to over 24,400.
One more death was also reported, raising the death toll to 428.
Special virus prevention measures are in place through this weekend to prevent another resurgence with Korea having celebrated a long holiday a week ago and today starting a three-day weekend.
