President Moon Jae-in wished the South Korean people a happy Chuseok holiday.
In a video message, he noted that a lot of people are choosing not to visit their hometowns and meeting their loved ones this year due to COVID-19, but stressed that things will get better.
The government will succeed in the quarantine and revive the economy, and will repay the people that have been coping with difficulties. We will step up the social safety net, value each person's dreams, and head towards co-existence and prosperity.
