'Chuboon' tomorrow...temperature gaps of 10℃↑ Updated: 2020-09-21 17:10:10 KST

Under clear autumn skies, temperature gaps between day and night are getting wider.
Let's turn to our Lee Seung-min at the Weather Center.
Seung-min, tomorrow is officially the first day of autumn?

Right, Conn-young. Autumn traditionally begins with the September equinox and that starts tomorrow. This is referred to as 'Chuboon' in South Korea and is one of the two times of the year when day and night are of equal length. In terms of the weather, most inland regions will continue to have temperature gaps of more than 10 degrees, so please dress warmly.

Fine dust will continue to stand at level 'good’ all across the nation tomorrow. Opening the windows three times a day for 30 minutes can help the stagnant air inside to circulate.

Morning lows will start off a bit warmer than today’s. Seoul will start off at 16 degrees Celsius.

Daytime highs will hover around the low, mid 20s. Seoul will reach 25 degrees and Daegu 23.

The nation will stay under fairly clear skies for the week excluding Gangwon-do Province, where sporadic showers will be coming and going.

Meanwhile, the season's 12th typhoon, Dolphin, has been formed south of Japan a few a hours ago. Dolphin is set to move towards Osaka and is unlikely to affect Korea.

I'll leave you with the weather conditions around the world.
