S. Korea's 2021 minimum wage finalized at 8,720 won with smallest on-year increase Updated: 2020-08-05 17:06:59 KST

The South Korean government has finalized next year's minimum hourly wage.
The labor ministry said Wednesday that it will be eight,seven-hundred-20 won, which is about seven U.S. dollars and 30 cents.
This is the amount approved by the Minimum Wage Commission last month.
It's up one-and-a-half percent from this year and the smallest increase to date.
