Time now to get a check on the weather.
Let's turn to our Lee Seung-min at the Weather Center.
Seung-min, with monsoon rains easing a touch, temperatures are soaring back up again. Southern regions, for instance, are already seeing scorching highs.
Right, Conn-young. Rain has finally let up in southern regions and temperatures will start to rise fast from this point on. Heatwave advisories are already in place in east coastal areas and southern regions, including Jeolla-do and Gyeongsang-do provinces and Jeju island.
That said, the rain has not eased completely just yet. Until tonight, we’ll be expecting some heavy isolated showers in inland regions. As a rain front will move towards the north overnight, central regions will be seeing some heavy rain of up to 150 millimeters. Those areas include Seoul, Gyeonggi-do and parts of Gangwon-do provinces.
For tomorrow morning, the entire nation will begin the day at 24 degrees Celsius.
Daytime highs will be similar to today's. Seoul will reach 28 degrees, Gwangju 32, Daegu and Gyeongju 33 degrees.
Southern regions will continue to see sweltering highs. In central regions, showers are set to prolong until Wednesday.
We'll see high humidity during the day over most of the Korean Peninsula for the weekend.
I'll leave you with the weather conditions around the world.
