Good morning, eastern parts of Gangwon-do Province received the most rain in a single day in 10 years yesterday getting up to 300 millimeters. Right now, rain clouds are still dropping showers in eastern parts of the country.
Expect to see showers of 5 to 20 millimeters into this afternoon, while the capital region will see drizzle for the rest of the morning.
As the rain takes a break this afternoon, temperatures will rise in most parts 2 to 5 degrees higher than yesterday. Daegu could notice cooler daytime highs though.
For a closer look, it's a breezy start to the day.. morning temperatures are a couple notches lower than the same time yesterday. It's a breezier morning as well so dress accordingly.
But highs will rise fast and we could see some sunshine peeking out from behind the clouds. Seoul and Jeju will get up to 26 degrees Celsius.
