100 days of COVID-19: WHO claims its "unwavering commitment" served all people with equity, objectivity and neutrality Updated: 2020-04-09 10:09:21 KST

Exactly one hundred days have passed since the WHO was first notified about the outbreak of COVID-19 in China.
Since then over one-and-a-half million people around the world have been infected, according to the latest figures from Johns Hopkins University.
Despite the number of deaths closing in on 90-thousand worldwide, and the growing criticism especially from President Trump over its role in managing the spread, the head of the World Health Organization has listed the steps the UN agency had taken to contain the virus.
He said the WHO's "unwavering commitment has been to serve all people of the world with equity, objectivity and neutrality," and the agency will continue to solely focus on that in the "days, weeks and months ahead."
