Today we saw air quality advisories being issued in Seoul where ultrafine particle concentrations spiked to 'very bad' levels.
And it is raining tonight across the country. Let's see if it will be enough to wash away the fine dust. Turning to our Natalie Seok at the Weather CenterNatalie, what can you tell us?
No, I'm afraid it won't be enough to wash away the dust. And we're going to have more 'bad' air quality here in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do and Western Gangwon-do Provinces tomorrow. But the rest of the country will have breathable levels.
The rain has started in the western regions, including Seoul, earlier this evening. Then it will spread to the rest of the nation, staying until early Saturday morning.
At most, we'll see some light rain of up to 10 millimeters in the western areas. And the mountains of Gangwon-do Province will see up to 5 centimeters of snow.
Taking a closer look at our readings for tomorrow, Seoul's low will be 4 degrees Celsius, Chuncheon 3 and Jeju 10.
And the mercury doesn't rise too much further in Seoul, so it'll be a cooler day with highs of 6 degrees, Daegu 12 and Jeju 14.
So, we are going to have warm conditions during the weekend. But it will get windy after it stops raining. So, do keep that in mind for tomorrow.
I'll leave you with the weather conditions around the world.
