Former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg will officially join the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election race this week, with his first appearance at a presidential debate.
Bloomberg has qualified for Wednesday's Democratic presidential debate in Las Vegas, ahead of this weekend's Nevada caucuses.
A recent poll by NPR, PBS NewsHour and Marist shows Bloomberg is in second with 19 percent support.
Senator Bernie Sanders has a strong lead with 31 percent.
Bloomberg has been preparing for Super Tuesday.
Other Democratic candidates are gearing up to slam him, including attacks on his earlier "Stop and Frisk" remarks, calling him "racist."
