Remains of S. Korean soldiers killed in N. Korea to be returned Updated: 2020-02-17 10:26:21 KST

The remains of some 80 South Korean soldiers killed in North Korea during the Korean War are to be returned to South Korea.
Citing government officials, local media outlets have reported that the U.S. Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency will send some 80 sets of remains to South Korea this April.
It's believed that the remains were handed over by North Korea to the U.S. following the first summit between U.S. President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in Singapore back in 2018.
In October 2018, South Korea received 64 sets of Korean War remains from the U.S.
