South Korea on Tuesday reported its 28th confirmed case of the novel coronavirus from a 30 year-old Chinese woman.
The woman was already under self-quarantine when she was tested positive for the virus, and is now at the Myongji hospital.
She's suspected to have contracted the virus from an acquaintance of hers, a man in his 50s who was the third person in South Korea to test positive for the virus on January 26th after coming back from Wuhan.
As of Tuesday, four out of 28 confirmed coronavirus cases in South Korea have fully recovered and have been discharged from hospital.
Meanwhile, the number of suspected cases reported in South Korea has topped 3,6 hundred.
More than 2,7-hundred of those people have turned out negative, and 8-hundred-and-65 people are being tested and waiting for the results.
The Central Disaster Management Headquarters is coming up with new measures to tackle the virus.
Starting Tuesday, hospitals and pharmacies will be able to access patients' travel history to Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Macau.
Japan will be included on the list starting Thursday, and Taiwan and Malaysia will be added next Monday.
The headquarters has also advised citizens to refrain from traveling to the following six countries: Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and Taiwan.
This is aimed at preventing the virus from entering South Korea through countries other than China.
Also, starting Wednesday, the government will designate Hong Kong and Macao as 'contaminated areas' and will enforce strict quarantine screening on entrants from those regions.
Meanwhile, the disaster headquarters says the government has no plans at the moment to bring back South Korean nationals on board the Diamond Princess cruise ship, a vessel under quarantine at the Yokohama port in Japan.
There are reportedly 14 South Korean nationals on board the ship nine passengers and five crew members.
The vessel carries some 3 thousand-and-7-hundred people and more than 130 people on board are confirmed to be infected with coronavirus.
