S. Korea saw biggest trade surplus with Hong Kong in 2019 Updated: 2020-01-28 17:05:17 KST

South Korea's largest trade surplus last year was with Hong Kong the first time in ten years that the biggest one has not been with mainland China.
According to the Korea Customs Service, the trade surplus with Hong Kong was around three billion U.S. dollars.
Korea's second biggest surplus was with China, followed by Vietnam and Poland.
Its biggest trade deficit was with Japan, but that figure, around 19 billion dollars, was the smallest one with Japan in 16 years.
