OECD cuts S. Korea's economy growth outlook for 2020 to 2.5% from 2.7% Updated: 2020-01-28 13:16:17 KST

The OCED has cut South Korea's economic growth outlook for this year to 2.5 percent, but that would still be an improvement from last year.
The forecast, released Tuesday, was a drop of zero.2 percent from the one it issued back in November.
The OECD attributed the downward revision to South Korea's working age population getting smaller and the country's declining labor productivity.
South Korea's downward revision was the one of the biggest in the OECD, next only to Turkey, Ireland and Iceland.
