New satellite imagery shows vehicle activity at a critical North Korean missile site that could potentially indicate early preparations for a missile or missile engine test.
That's according to CNN citing one U.S. administration official and three defense officials familiar with the latest assessment.
The officials said vehicles have been spotted at the Sanumdong missile research center near Pyeongyang in recent days.
The vehicles are not believed to be involved in fueling missiles and U.S. officials are not certain whether North Korea may be moving toward the launch of a short-or-medium-range missile or an engine test.
One senior U.S. official was quoted as saying the activities are consistent with what they have seen prior to other missile tests, but that there is no indication of an imminent test launch.
However, as always it is something they cannot rule out.
