The S&P 500 climbed point-seven percent to 3,274.
The Nasdaq gained point-eight percent to end at 9,203, staying well above nine-thousand.
On the oil markets,. it seems the reduction in Middle East tensions calmed investors with prices of Brent Crude and WTI remaining virtually unchanged at 60 to 65 dollars a barrel.
