We're in for a fairly wet night tonight in the capital and other regions, but the eastern parts of the country are in for some heavy snow.
Let's get the details from our Natalie Seok at the Weather Center. Natalie?
Yes, that's right. Central areas will see some light rain tonight. And the rain clouds will spread to the southern inland areas while the mountains of Gangwon-do Province will see up to 8 centimeters of snow pile up, with relevant advisories likely to be issued.
However, it'll dry up from early tomorrow morning giving way to sunshine and clear blue skies over the weekend.
Meanwhile, we'll have poor air quality in the morning across the country except for eastern Gangwon-do Province due to the inflow of fine dust from China.
But for most of the day we will enjoy clean air.
So, after the brief rainy spell in the morning, sunshine is in store for the nation this Saturday during the day.
But the lows are still below freezing, as Seoul kicks off with the mercury at minus 2 degrees Celsius, minus 1 in Gyeongju and 6 in Busan.
And daytime highs will range from the single figures to the low teens
The temperatures will peak at 6 degrees in Seoul, 10 in Daegu and Gyeongju and 14 in Jeju.
Next week we'll have some rain at the beginning of the week but otherwise, we can look forward to milder and clearer winter weather.
I'll leave you with the weather conditions around the world.
