U.S. considers delaying 15% tariff hike on Chinese goods planned for Dec. 15 Updated: 2019-12-11 13:31:52 KST

The Trump administration may have given the green light to the phase-one trade deal with China.
It's considering a delay for the new 15-percent tariffs on Beijing.
Quoting U.S. officials Tuesday, the Wall Street Journal reported that the U.S. might postpone the fifteen percent tariffs on Chinese-made consumer goods scheduled to take effect on Sunday.
However, President Trump's top economic adviser Larry Kudlow on Tuesday downplayed the report, saying the December tariffs are "still on the table."
