N. Korea has installed concrete slabs to support ICBM launchers: Report Updated: 2019-12-02 16:19:46 KST

North Korea has reportedly installed scores of concrete bedrocks to support its transporter erector launchers set up across the country, prompting speculation that the regime is getting ready to fire inter-continential ballistic missiles.
Citing several unidentified South Korean and U.S. government officials, Japan's Asahi Shimbun reported Monday that the concrete slabs, used to stabilize missiles on the TELs are several meters across, making them wide enough to support the launch of ICBMs.
Also according to the report, South Korea's National Intelligence Service in a National Assembly hearing last week said there's a possibility the North might launch a medium-to-long-range missile by the year's end.
In response, it said, starting early November, Japan's Self Defense Forces had dispatched Aegis destroyers to the East Sea.
