South Korea's nuclear envoy held phone talks with his American and Japanese counterparts soon after the North's projectile launches on Thursday.
According to Seoul's foreign ministry, Special Representative for Korean Peninsula Peace and Security Affairs Lee Do-hoon, spoke with U.S. Special Representative for North Korea Stephen Biegun and Japan's Asian and Oceanian Affairs chief Shigeki Takizaki on Thursday afternoon.
They assessed the current situation on the Korean Peninsula and discussed response measures.
The envoys of Seoul and Tokyo also discussed South Korea's recent decision to postpone terminating GSOMIA, its bilateral intel-sharing pact with Japan.
