Good morning. The brief cold snap that gripped Korea for the last few days has eased and it's a lot more bearable today. In fact, seasonal indicators show today is Soseol meaning a little bit of snow with colder readings, but rather we'll be under sunny skies with milder than average temperatures.
Morning lows are starting out in positive territory for most regions. Air quality will also be normal in most regions apart from Sejong City and Chungcheongbuk-do Province.
Highs will rise quickly to the mid to upper teens, Busan and Jeju could see a high of 20 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, parts of Gangwon-do and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province remain under dry weather alerts.
The mild weather continues into the weekend. Saturday should be a great day for outdoor activities, but do expect rain nationwide on Sunday.
