Our top story for the evening, the U.S. is determined to continue denuclearization talks with North Korea despite test-firings conducted by the North earlier this week.
U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Friday the denuclearization progress with North Korea has been "far too slow" but hoped for good results in several months.
His remarks come after the North launched projectiles, which it says was fired from a "super-large" multiple rocket launcher.
This is the first rocket test by the North since the two sides held working-level talks in Stockholm last month.
Pompeo downplayed the significance of the North's recent firing in a local interview saying it's consistent with what they've done before and the U.S. is still working to carry out the agreements of the Singapore summit held last June.
