The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 250 points, or around one percent, to 26,135.
The S&P 500 jumped 35 points, or one.two percent to 2,923.
The Nasdaq had the best day, jumping 106 points, or one.three-five percent, to 8,002.
In South Korea Monday, the benchmark KOSPI added almost 13 points, or two-thirds of a percent. It ended the day at one,940.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose just over half-a-percent, to close at 594 points.
Oil prices traded higher on Monday.
W-T-I rose almost two percent to around $60 a barrel, Brent was up two.four percent to $ 56.19.
