S. Korea hit hardest by N. Korean cyberattacks: UN report Updated: 2019-08-13 09:03:38 KST

UN experts say South Korea is the biggest victim of North Korea's cyberattacks.
According to AP, a recent UN Security Council report said South Korea was hit hardest by the North, suffering ten cyberattacks followed by India with three.
It added that experts are investigating at least 35 cases of North Korean cyberattacks across 17 countries.
But the report did not say how much South Korea had lost from North Korea's cyberattacks.
Last week, AP reported that Pyeongyang has amassed some 2 billion U.S. dollars by using cyberattacks to steal money from financial institutions and cryptocurrency exchanges.
