Today marks the fifth anniversary of one of the darkest days in South Korean history, the sinking of the Sewol-ho ferry.
3-hundred-and-4 people died that day in 2014.
Most of them were students from Danwon High School in the city of Ansan, just south of Seoul, who were on a school trip to Jeju Island.
A memorial service began about an hour ago at 3PM at a park in Ansan.
Some 5-thousand people are taking part, including the relatives of those who died and government officials.
There are hundreds of other memorials across the country as well.
