More sweltering conditions are expected across South Korea this weekend. Now that rain has tapered off, a surge of warm and humid air will become widespread tomorrow. The capital region will be scorching hot, with readings hovering near 33 to 34 degrees Celsius.

Almost the entire country is now under heatwave alerts. Most inland regions, including the capital, are under heatwave advisories. Being exposed to extreme heat may lead to illness, so make sure to stay indoors as much as possible.

South Korea will be under the direct influence of "Typhoon Aere" early next week. While the projected pathway is subject to change, for now, Aere is forecast to reach waters off Jeju Island by next Tuesday. This will bring heavy showers to southern parts of country, so for those in the area, please make sure to refer to the latest weather forecast.

For readings tomorrow, morning lows in Seoul and Daejeon will start off at 24 degrees Celsius.

As for the daily highs, Seoul will get up to 34 degrees. Daegu 36. Daejeon and Gwangju 35 degrees.

The entire nation can expect another round of heavy showers next week.

That's all for now, and here are the weather conditions around the world.
