Turning to the COVID-19 situation in South Korea, the country reported 9,8-hundred-96 new COVID-19 infections as of Monday midnight.
That's almost 3 times the number reported the day before mainly due to increased testing after the weekend lull.
The tally is also up almost 6-hundred from the same day last week.
Health officials are warning that a virus resurgence could happen either in the summer or autumn.
There were 5 related deaths and 62 critically ill patients.
